Schneider Electric GV3P40 TeSys motor protection circuit breaker 3P 30-40 A rotary handle. The Schneider Electric GV3P40 is a TeSys GV3 magneto-thermal motor protection circuit breaker with a 30 to 40 A adjustable thermal range, 40 A rated current and a magnetic trip at 560 A. GV3P40 extends TeSys motor protection above the GV2 frame, handling motors up to 18.5 kW at 400/415 V 50 Hz, 22 kW at 500 V and 37 kW at 690 V. It is a three-pole rotary-handle device rated 690 V AC with 6 kV impulse withstand, delivering 50 kA Icu at 400/415 V with 100 % Ics and 100 kA Icu at 230/240 V, and it is suitable for isolation to IEC 60947-1 with phase-failure sensitivity. The 55 x 132 x 136 mm body weighs 0.96 kg, clips to 35 mm DIN rail, dissipates 8 W per pole and is rated for 50,000 mechanical cycles with 5 N.m terminal torque. Typical GV3P40 duties in Egypt and the GCC include raw water and slurry pumps, crusher and mill auxiliaries, compressors and large fans in cement, water and wastewater, oil and gas and food plants.
