Schneider Electric GV2MC02 TeSys IP55 surface-mounting enclosure for TeSys GV2ME motor circuit breakers. The Schneider Electric GV2MC02 is an IP55 surface-mounting enclosure designed to house a TeSys GV2ME motor protection circuit breaker as a standalone local starter or isolator. GV2MC02 measures 147 mm high, 93 mm wide and 84 mm deep and weighs 0.3 kg, and it accepts an auxiliary contact block mounted on the left or right side of the breaker. The IP55 rating means the assembly is protected against dust ingress and water jets, which is why GV2MC02 is used for field-mounted motor protection outside the main MCC: irrigation and booster pump sets, dosing skids, wash-down areas in food and beverage plants, cooling tower and dust-extraction fans in cement works, and outdoor pump houses in Egyptian and GCC water and wastewater schemes. Ordering the GV2ME breaker together with the GV2MC02 enclosure gives a complete, ready-to-mount protected starter without fabricating a custom box.
