EasyPact is Schneider's value MCCB line for standard distribution boards, widely specified on building and light-industrial projects where the full ComPacT feature set is not needed. We supply EasyPact CVS with TM-D thermal-magnetic and ETS electronic trip units from 100 A to 630 A, EasyPact EZC breakers, and the Vigi modules, rotary handles and auxiliaries that go with them.
EasyPact and ComPacT are different ranges — accessories, handles and Vigi modules are not interchangeable between them.
Confirm the trip unit type: TM-D (thermal-magnetic), MA (magnetic only, for motor feeders) or ETS (electronic).
Check the breaking capacity against the installation's fault level; EasyPact classes are narrower than ComPacT.
Rotary handle and motor mechanism references are frame-specific.
Frequently asked questions
EasyPact or ComPacT NSX — which should I specify?
EasyPact covers standard distribution duty at a lower cost. ComPacT NSX adds higher breaking capacities, Micrologic electronic trip units with metering and communication, and a wider accessory range. For a plant main board, ComPacT usually earns its cost; for a straightforward sub-board, EasyPact is enough.
Can EasyPact accessories fit a ComPacT breaker?
No. Despite similar appearance, handles, Vigi modules and auxiliary contacts are range-specific.
What does the MA trip unit do?
MA is magnetic-only — short-circuit protection without a thermal element — intended for motor feeders where a separate overload relay or drive provides thermal protection.
