Schneider Electric TM221CE40R Modicon M221 logic controller 40 I/O, 24 DI, 16 relay DO, Ethernet. The Schneider Electric TM221CE40R is the largest compact Modicon M221 logic controller, providing 40 discrete I/O in a single 160 mm wide DIN rail unit. Supplied from 100...240 V AC, the TM221CE40R has 24 discrete inputs conforming to IEC 61131-2 Type 1, 2 analogue inputs at 0...10 V and 16 normally open relay outputs rated 2 A, letting one controller drive a large number of contactors, valves and indicators without expansion. The embedded Ethernet 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX port supports Modbus TCP server, Modbus TCP client, EtherNet/IP adapter and DHCP client, alongside an RS232/RS485 serial line and a USB mini-B programming port. Memory is 256 kB of user application and data RAM with 256 kB flash backup, and the controller includes a real-time clock, up to 14 PID loops, 4 fast counters at 100 kHz and support for 7 local expansion modules. It is used in water treatment stations, food and beverage lines, textile machinery and packaging OEM panels in Egypt and the GCC.
