Frequently asked questions

What replaced the ATV31 and ATV312?

The ATV320 is the successor for machine applications and the ATV12 for basic duty. The ATV320 is not a mechanical drop-in for an ATV312 — mounting and terminal layout differ — but a like-for-like sizing is straightforward. Send the old reference for a quote.

Does the ATV320 have safe torque off?

Yes, integrated STO is available on the range, which is why it is common on machines with a safety-rated stop requirement. Confirm the exact reference against the safety level your machine assessment requires.
