Schneider Electric TM3DI16 Modicon TM3 discrete input module 16 inputs 24 V DC screw terminal. The Schneider Electric TM3DI16 is a Modicon TM3 discrete input expansion module that adds 16 digital inputs at 24 V DC to a Modicon controller. The TM3DI16 is compatible with the Modicon M221, M241, M251 and M262 ranges and clips onto the expansion bus, from which it is powered electronically, drawing a typical 34 mA at 5 V DC. Inputs conform to IEC 61131-2 type 3, accept sink or source wiring, draw 7 mA each and have a maximum response time of 4 ms on turn-on and turn-off, with 500 V AC isolation between channels and the bus and one green LED per channel for status. Field wiring uses removable screw terminal blocks with 3.81 mm pitch, and the module mounts on TH35 DIN rail or on a panel with a fixing kit in a 90 x 27.4 x 84.6 mm housing weighing 0.1 kg. It is used to extend input capacity in water treatment, food and beverage, packaging and textile panels.
