The 3SE range covers mechanical position switches, limit switches and safety-rated interlock switches used to detect end positions and to guard doors and covers. We supply plastic and metal enclosure versions, the full set of actuator heads — plunger, roller lever, adjustable rod, rope-pull — and the hinge and tongue-operated safety switches used on machine guards.
The actuator head is the most common ordering mistake — confirm plunger, roller, lever or rod before ordering.
Safety-rated interlock switches carry positive-opening contacts; a standard limit switch cannot substitute in a safety circuit.
Check the contact configuration (1NO+1NC vs 2NC) against the safety relay input it feeds.
Note the cable entry thread (M20, Pg13.5) — it must match the gland already in the machine.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use a standard limit switch in a safety circuit?
No. A safety circuit requires a switch with positive-opening (direct-opening) contacts, marked as such, and usually a dual-channel arrangement into a safety relay.
Can you match a switch from a photo?
Yes — send a photo of the switch and its label to WhatsApp.
Are actuator heads sold separately?
For most of the range, yes: the enclosure and head can be ordered as separate part numbers, which is often cheaper than replacing the whole switch.
