Siemens SIRIUS 3RV Motor Protection Circuit Breakers
The 3RV motor protection circuit breaker combines short-circuit and overload protection for a motor branch in one device, and is the standard MPCB in SIRIUS load feeders. We supply the current 3RV2 range and the legacy 3RV1, across the full set of current settings from 0.11 A up to 100 A, with screw and spring-loaded terminals.

Order by current-setting band, not motor kW — the setting range (e.g. 2.2–3.2 A) must bracket the motor's full-load current.
Confirm whether you need the plain MPCB or the version with an integrated auxiliary or signalling contact.
3RV2 and 3RV1 use different accessory ranges — link modules and busbars are not interchangeable between generations.
For a full load feeder, check that the 3RV frame size matches the 3RT contactor it will be linked to.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a 3RV and a 3RU overload relay?
A 3RV is a circuit breaker: it provides both overload and short-circuit protection and can be used as the branch disconnect. A 3RU overload relay only provides overload protection and must sit behind a separate short-circuit device.
