What to check before ordering Match the full coil voltage code in the part number — a 3RT2015-1AB01 (230 V AC) and 3RT2015-1BB41 (24 V DC) are otherwise identical parts. Check the AC-3 rating against your motor's full-load current, not its rated kW alone. Count the built-in auxiliary contacts (the last digits) — panels wired for 1NO+1NC will not accept a plain 1NO unit without an add-on block. 3RT1 is the legacy generation; the 3RT2 equivalent usually fits the same footprint but confirm terminal type before ordering. Frequently asked questions Is the 3RT2 range a direct replacement for 3RT1? For most sizes yes — the 3RT2 shares mounting dimensions with the 3RT1 it replaces, but auxiliary block compatibility and terminal types changed.
