The S300P is ABB's industrial-grade modular breaker: higher breaking capacity and greater mechanical endurance than a standard MCB, in the same DIN-rail form factor. It is specified where fault levels are high or where the board is switched frequently — process plants, large machine panels and industrial sub-distribution — and is available with switched-neutral poles.
S300P Industrial Miniature Circuit Breakers we supply
Confirm the breaking capacity required by the board's prospective short-circuit current before choosing between S200 and S300P.
Switched-neutral versions (NA suffix) are distinct part numbers and occupy more width.
Check curve and current rating together — industrial breakers cover a wide curve set.
Accessories are range-specific; S200 auxiliaries do not necessarily fit S300P.
Frequently asked questions
When do I need an S300P instead of an S200?
When the prospective fault current at the board exceeds what the S200 class can safely interrupt, or when the breaker will be operated frequently as a switch. On a standard building board an S200 is normally sufficient.
What does the switched-neutral version add?
It disconnects the neutral along with the phases, which is required in some installations for safe isolation during maintenance and where neutral integrity cannot be assumed.
